Talk to your teammates, support staff, athletic administration, parents, kids, really anyone you are comfortable with about the signs of abuse. Even if you feel 100% good about your athletic relationships, it is really helpful to have those safe spaces established. It’s never too early to talk about the warning signs for abuse!
